Sudabeh Mohafez was born in Teheran in 1963 and lives in Stuttgart. Studied music, English philology and educational science.

Many years of experience working in the fields of violence prevention and crisis intervention. Since 1999 first literary publications in literary magazines and anthologies. Poetry docentship at Wiesbaden University of Applied Sciences in 2007. Several literary scholarships, e.g. from the German Literaturfonds, the Robert Bosch Foundation and the Berlin Senate Department for Culture.
